Science in the Public Service (SIPS) is a joint campaign organized by the government bureaux/departments and other organizations to promote their scientific work and how technological applications are being applied to the provision of public services. The theme of this year is “Science Experience and Data Application”. A series of programmes will be held from this August to December. Members of the public are welcome to join the activities and learn how science can lead us to a sustainable future. As one of the participating organizations, the MoCC will organize workshops to guide participants in upcycling unwanted clothes into various daily items, learning about waste reduction and sustainable living. The workshops will be conducted in Putonghua, with support in Cantonese and English. Admission is free and all are welcome. Successful registrants are requested to bring their old clothes.
