William Tong is a local artist and illustrator. His love of nature and longing for freedom helped him develop his ‘Temphouse’ series and ‘Amazing Fish-Fusion’ series. Excelling in drawing skills, the ‘Temphouse’ series successfully depicted the scenery of Hong Kong. Coupled with the artist’s imagination, this series is native but self-expressive: intended creation becomes random fragments of life that resonate powerfully with the audience. Although he enjoys fishing, the desire to protect the ocean life has made William decide to pen a tribute to fish.  Hence the environmental series Amazing Fish-Fusion, whose delicate yet strong lines successfully represent how ocean life is affected by environmental pollution.

Three works from this series received the Award of Excellence in the Greater China Award for Best Creative Illustration. In addition to 2-dimensional works, William has also parlayed his meticulous technique and skills into 3-dimensional works that are as stunning as his drawings. He is a multi-disciplinary artist and his works are very popular among private local and overseas collectors.
